Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how Next Hiring Talent handles enrolment changes, cancellations and refund requests for Academy programmes and career-services packages. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

Draft prepared for legal review. Not yet published as final. [NEEDS-INPUT: effective date]

Working draft — not legal advice

This is a working draft prepared for internal review. It has not yet been vetted by a lawyer. Next Hiring Talent must have this document reviewed and approved by qualified Indian legal counsel before it is published or relied upon.

1. Enrolment confirmation

Your enrolment in a programme or purchase of a career-services package is confirmed once you receive our written confirmation, following successful submission of your registration and applicable fee, where payable.

2. Cooling-off window

Learners may request a full or partial refund without needing to give a detailed reason if the request is raised within [NEEDS-INPUT: cooling-off period, e.g. number of days from enrolment] of enrolment and before the second live session or before accessing more than [NEEDS-INPUT: threshold, e.g. a stated proportion] of self-paced content, whichever is earlier.

3. Refund eligibility and non-eligibility

Outside the cooling-off window, refund requests are assessed case by case. Requests are generally not eligible where a learner has completed a substantial portion of the programme, downloaded all core materials, received one-to-one deliverables, or where the request is based on outcomes NHT does not guarantee (such as employment or interview results, per our Terms).

  • Eligible: technical inability to access the programme that NHT cannot resolve within a reasonable period; a batch cancelled by NHT; duplicate payment made in error.
  • Not eligible: change of mind after the cooling-off window and after substantial content consumption; non-attendance without prior communication; dissatisfaction with outcomes that were never guaranteed (e.g. not receiving a job offer).

4. Reschedule or cancellation by NHT

If NHT reschedules or cancels a cohort, enrolled learners will be offered, at their choice, a transfer to the next available batch at no additional cost, or a refund of fees paid for that cohort, processed per Section 8.

5. Transfers and deferrals

Learners may request a one-time transfer or deferral to a later batch of the same programme, subject to seat availability, if the request is made at least [NEEDS-INPUT: notice period, e.g. number of days] before the batch start date. Deferral requests raised after this window are handled at NHT's discretion. [NEEDS-INPUT: whether an administrative fee applies to transfers — described qualitatively only, no amounts to be added without legal/commercial sign-off]

6. Partial completion

Where a learner has attended part of a programme before requesting withdrawal, any refund considered under Section 3 will be adjusted to reflect the portion of the programme, materials and one-to-one time already delivered, calculated on a basis to be determined by NHT at its reasonable discretion. [NEEDS-INPUT: confirm whether a defined proportional-refund schedule will be published]

7. Career-services deliverables

For deliverable-based career services (such as resume writing, LinkedIn optimisation or portfolio building), NHT provides a defined number of revision rounds as communicated at the time of purchase. Once all revision rounds are used and the final deliverable has been provided, the engagement is considered complete and is not eligible for a refund. One-to-one coaching sessions, mock interviews and other done-for-you services that have already been delivered are non-refundable once conducted.

8. Processing timeline and method

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within [NEEDS-INPUT: processing timeline, e.g. number of business days] of approval. Processing times beyond this may depend on your bank or payment provider.

9. How to raise a refund request

To request a refund, write to us at [NEEDS-INPUT: refunds/support email address] with your registered name, programme or service name, enrolment date and reason for the request. We will acknowledge your request within [NEEDS-INPUT: acknowledgement timeline] and communicate the outcome after review.

10. Chargebacks

We ask learners and clients to raise concerns with us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or payment provider, so that we can attempt to resolve the matter first. Chargebacks raised without prior contact, where the underlying service has already been delivered as described in these Terms, may be contested by NHT with supporting delivery records.
